This is certainly the first footage we have ever seen from within a firework display. And it is pretty impressive. The pilot has shown some balls (or lack of brains!) to stick his quad-copter (made of plastic and lipo batteries) into the action. We were glad to see though that he was sensible enough to do this over a big expanse of water.

No doubt this guy isn’t a licensed drone pilot! But we have to applaud the footage he has got.  We will now wait to see online the first footage of a drone crashing down after being hit by a firework. Remember Icarus…?
