GLENBEIGH HORSE RACING AIRED ON SKY TELEVISION

Commissioned by John Griffin/ Irish TV to film the racing action on the beach at Glenbeigh, County Kerry. Day one of the racing was a total washout out with exceptionally high winds however luckily the rain stopped and the wind lessened on the final day for us to get some great shots. 

Shooting on a wide open beach was a joy however we had been briefed to stay above or behind the horses as we didn’t want the drone to spook any of the runners and riders!

The aerial footage of the horse racing and accompanying shots of the area were shown on Sky Television on a one hour documentary about the famous and historic annual horse race on the beach.
